The project aimed to execute a comprehensive rebranding stratedy for Tonica, a wellness store renowned for its specialisation in the production and distribution of high-quality kombucha beverages.
The Tonica Kombucha journey started in 2006 when Zoey Shamai, a globetrotting yoga enthusiast, returned from a yoga ashram with a newfound gem - kombucha tea. While teaching yoga in various locations, Zoey carefully transported it back to Toronto, where she continued nurturing and brewing her effervescent creation. Her passion for wellness and natural remedies fuelled her dedication to perfecting the art of kombucha brewing, eventually leading to the birth of Tonica Kombucha.
For the new brand identity, I wanted to create something lively that could live in numerous environments. The new logo is dynamic, with the rounder typography and moving elements, symbolizing the energry and vitality that kombucha brings. The color palette is vibrant and trendy, reflecting the brand's modern and health-conscious ethos. This fresh visual identity captures the essence of Tonica Kombucha's journey and its commitment to wellness, making it stand out in the bustling marketplace.
